2.13: Grief-stricken and evil merits solid black on black, with only a white button-down peeking through to break it up. Also note his very pointy shoes.

2.13: Grief makes his hair all floppy. I like it, it works on him– though he will never challenge the Manbangs, it is true.

2.13: Full shot before the funeral. The pants actually match the jacket (stylin’ pinstripes) and he is sporting a rather awesome black peacoat of which I highly approve. He accessorizes with concerned best friends.

2.13: Chuck, unsurprisingly, wears a lot of black in this episode, because a) funeral, and b) Deep Emotional Pain™. We open on him in a black shirt, silver tie, and black jacket with silver pinstripes, plus a purple pocket square. This is accessorized with alcohol (bottom right corner under the watermark), which will be this episode’s running theme.

2.12: We need to see it again. It is that awesome. I rank this second only to the infamous bass cardigan in the Most Mind-Boggling Basshion stakes. Oh sparkly suit. Never leave us. <3

2.12: THIS TUX IS TOO FABULOUS FOR WORDS. IT IS COVERED IN GLITTER. And he pairs it with a bow tie with sparkly silver stripes! Oh, Chuck, I know it is a horrible stereotype that makes me think this, but nonetheless: given the way you dress, I am kind of amazed you are apparently straight.

2.12: On more detailed inspection, we can see that the tie and the shirt actually do have very different patterns– blue, purple, and grey diamonds for the former, subtle slate and tan plaid for the latter– but this doesn’t really register until it’s in closeup.

2.12: Skipping over the uninteresting school uniform at the episode’s beginning, we come to this ensemble. Dark pants and V-neck sweater which actually seem to match each other, as well as a dark tie. It all seems suspciously… restrained. Except for the stylin’ coat, in which we are treated to a reappearance of the weird half-velvet collar. I must confess, I dig the coat, it’s got a really nice cut.

2.11: Closeup because I like the little notch in the sleeve, and how well the buttons match the vest. Well played, Chuck, well played.
